That’s right… it’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month! I’m doing my part to play right into the cheesiness with my first blog for Semperis: Battling Zombie Certificates: The Persistent Risk Lurking in AD CS. It’s full of creepy visuals and an even creepier persistence method.

I wish I could say I wrote this article with the intention of publishing it in October specifically for a spooky season tie-in, but I didn’t. I originally stumbled over this configuration back in June and intended to publish it on my personal blog in August. But then I realized the mitigations in the article could be integrated into Semperis products, so I held publishing until the new indicators were approved.
